Al Marwan Real Estate ("Al Marwan Real Estate", "we", "us" or "our") is part of Al Marwan Group and operates this website at almarwanrealestate.com (the "Site"). We lease and manage residential and commercial property across Sharjah. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use the Site or send us an enquiry, why we collect it, how we use cookies, and the choices you have over it.

By using the Site or sending us an enquiry, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with any part of it, please don't use the Site.

02- Information We Collect

We only collect information that helps us answer your enquiry and run the Site properly. It falls into two groups.

Information you provide

When you send an enquiry through the Site — from a property page or the contact page — we ask for:

  • Your name.
  • Your phone number.
  • Your email address.
  • Your message, including any details you choose to share about the property or space you're interested in.

If you reach us on WhatsApp, by phone, or by email instead, we receive whatever information you choose to share in that conversation.

Information collected automatically

  • Your browser type, device, and operating system.
  • Your IP address and approximate location (city or emirate level).
  • The pages you view, the site that referred you, and the date and time of your visit.
  • Information from cookies and similar technologies, explained in section 04 below.

03- How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to:

  • Respond to your enquiries and share details about properties, availability, and pricing.
  • Arrange viewings and follow up on your interest.
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and your experience on it.
  • Send you what you've asked for and, where you've agreed, occasional updates about new listings or offers.
  • Meet our legal and regulatory obligations and enforce our terms.

We don't sell your information, and we don't use it to make automated decisions that affect you.

  • Service providers who work on our behalf — for example, companies that host our website, help us manage properties and tenancies, and provide analytics — under agreements that require them to protect your data and use it only for the service they provide us.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it's necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or those of others.

06- Data Retention

We keep your personal information only for as long as we actually need it — to answer your enquiry, manage a tenancy, or meet a legal, tax, or accounting requirement. Once it's no longer needed, we delete it or anonymize it so it can no longer identify you.

07- Your Rights

Under UAE data protection law you have rights over your personal information. You can ask us to:

  • Access — get you a copy of the information we hold about you.
  • Rectification — correct anything that's inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Erasure — delete your information where we no longer have a reason to keep it.
  • Objection — object to certain uses of your information, including direct marketing.
  • Withdrawal of consent — change your mind at any time where we relied on your consent.
